Slack Integration ​

Overview ​

The Slack integration sends notifications and session updates to your Slack channels, keeping your team informed without leaving Slack.

Setup ​

  1. Go to Organization Settings > Integrations > Slack.
  2. Click Connect Slack to start the OAuth flow.
  3. Authorize Flaio to access your Slack workspace.
  4. Select the channels where you want to receive notifications.

Features ​

Session Notifications ​

Receive Slack notifications when:

  • A new session is created
  • A session is completed
  • A team member joins or leaves a session

Channel Configuration ​

Choose which Slack channels receive notifications. You can configure different channels for different teams or notification types.

Thread Updates ​

Session updates are grouped into Slack threads, keeping your channels organized and reducing noise.

Troubleshooting ​

  • OAuth fails — ensure you have permission to install apps in the Slack workspace
  • Notifications not appearing — verify that the Flaio app has been invited to the target channel
  • Wrong channel — check the channel configuration in Organization Settings > Integrations > Slack
