Sessions
Overview
Sessions are the core of Flaio — they represent a collaborative coding workspace where team members work together in real time.
Creating a Session
- From the dashboard, click New Session.
- Select a team (optional).
- Link an issue from your connected integration (optional).
- Share the session link with team members.
Session Lifecycle
Sessions go through the following states:
| State | Description |
|---|---|
| Not Started | Session created but no work has begun |
| Active | Session is in progress with active participants |
| Completed | Session work is finished |
Joining a Session
- Click a session link shared by a team member.
- Or browse active sessions from the dashboard.
Session Features
Real-Time Collaboration
Multiple team members can participate in a session simultaneously. Changes are synced in real time.
Issue Linking
Link a session to an issue from GitHub, Jira, Linear, or ClickUp. When the session progresses, the linked issue is updated automatically.
Session History
All sessions are recorded and accessible from the dashboard. You can review past sessions, see who participated, and view the work completed.
